Job summary

Wis-Pak is seeking a Production Operator to ensure high-quality, safe production and packaging. You will help maintain clean, compliant lines and complete essential documentation for traceability.

Ideal candidates possess forklift skills, strong safety discipline, the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and a team-oriented work style to support peak production periods.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English at a level sufficient to perform duties.
• Forklift operation certification or ability to pass test.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 75 pounds.
• Willingness to work overtime during peak production periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety, health, quality, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Operate safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices correctly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
• Check product and case codes for accuracy and legibility.
• Perform package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
• Complete and file all required quality and packaging documentation promptly.

About the Role

As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing accurate product changeovers, and completing essential documentation--all while supporting the smooth operation of our packaging lines.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Understanding and properly operating safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
• Checking product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility.
• Performing package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
• Completing and filing all required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.
