Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Quincy, IL, seeks a production supervisor with strong leadership to oversee staffing for the Production Department and cover Facility Manager duties when needed.

You will coordinate hourly and salary roles, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safe, compliant operations that meet customer demand. The role requires a four-year degree preference, proven supervisory experience, and solid communication and planning skills.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree preferred.
• Ability to work with all levels of staff and management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills.
• Previous management/supervisory experience required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing for the Production Department to meet customer demand.
• Fulfill the duties of the Facility Manager in his/her absence.
• Serve as liaison between the production personnel and staff on matters of communication, decisions, and policies.
• Prioritizes, schedules, and delegates work assignments.
• Ensure the continuous improvement of methods and processes.
• Ensure compliance with all company safety standards, housekeeping programs, work rules and regulations, providing a safe and clean workplace and complying with all regulatory agencies by leading by example and following up.
• Participate and support food safety auditing in a timely manner.
• Communicate with procurement regarding raw material needs or deficiencies.
