Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Production Operator for the 10:00pm-6:00am, Sunday through Thursday shift. You will help ensure product quality and safety, maintain a clean, safe work area, and support packaging line operations.

Ideal candidates bring English proficiency, team orientation, reliability, and the ability to follow instructions while meeting changeover and documentation requirements. Forklift certification and physical stamina are required.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.

• Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure.
• Forklift driving skills and pass Forklift Operator License test.

Responsibilities

• Following all safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Understanding and properly operating safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
• Checking product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility.
• Performing package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
• Completing and filing all required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.

About The Role

As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing accurate product changeovers, and completing essential documentation--all while supporting the smooth operation of our packaging lines.
