Job summary

Wis-Pak in Norfolk, NE is seeking a Production Operator to help ensure quality and safety on our packaging lines. You will maintain a clean, safe work area, perform product changeovers, and complete essential documentation. This role requires following safety standards, operating safety devices, checking codes, and assisting with changeovers.

You’ll work 5:00pm-5:00am, Monday–Friday, with a competitive hourly wage plus shift differential. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Perform packaging changeovers accurately and efficiently.
• Complete and file required quality and packaging documentation.

About the Role

As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing accurate product changeovers, and completing essential documentation--all while supporting the smooth operation of our packaging lines.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Following all safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
• Understanding and properly operating safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
• Maintaining a clean and organized work area to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
• Checking product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility.
• Performing package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
• Completing and filing all required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.

• Flexibility to work overtime during peak production periods.
