Job summary

Wis-Pak, Inc. in Quincy, IL is hiring a Production Operator to keep our beverage packaging lines running safely and efficiently. You will maintain a clean, compliant work area and perform accurate product changeovers while documenting quality and packaging steps.

We seek a reliable, detail-oriented teammate who can follow instructions, prioritize tasks, and work overtime when needed. Forklift certification and ability to lift up to 75 pounds are required, along with permanent US work eligibility.

Qualifications

  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

About the Role

As a Production Operator, you'll play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and safety. You'll be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment, performing accurate product changeovers, and completing essential documentation--all while supporting the smooth operation of our packaging lines.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Following all safety, health, quality, Food Safety, GMP, and company policies and procedures.
  • Understanding and properly operating safety switches, interlocks, and safety devices.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area to meet safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Checking product and case codes frequently for accuracy and legibility.
  • Performing package changeovers accurately and efficiently.
  • Completing and filing all required quality and packaging documentation in a timely and orderly manner.
