Job summary

Construction Specialties, Inc. is seeking a technical support specialist to provide timely installation and product-related guidance. You will gather facts, consult resources, and coordinate site startups while building strong relations with architects, contractors, and reps.

Travel is expected about 15% of the time; you will review drawings, assist R&D and manufacturing on testing, and document trip reports and field observations to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills to work with customers, architects, contractors and internal teams.
• Ability to meet deadlines and pay attention to detail for sustained periods.
• Willingness to travel 15% of the time and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical questions from architects, contractors, customers, sales reps, and internal teams via phone and email.
• Coordinate travel for job site installations and startups.
• Collaborate with R&D, manufacturing, drafting and customer service to gather data for answers to technical questions.
• Review pack slips and orders to identify discrepancies for no-charge adjustments.
• Log inquiries in the Tech Support Database daily and provide solutions.
