Job summary

Sames North America is seeking a field service technician to install equipment and provide on-site or remote technical support for customers and distributors. You will join the repair team when not assigned to a specific job and assist with special projects.

You must travel domestically and internationally up to 50%+, read blueprints, and train customers on Sames equipment. A high school degree and hands-on experience are required; evenings, weekend work, and safety compliance are part of the

Qualifications

• Minimum High School degree.
• Hands-on mechanical, pneumatic and electrical experience.
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally.
• Read and write English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for internal and external customers, in‑house and in the field.
• Provide equipment system installations, commissioning, and troubleshooting at customer facilities.
• Validation and production support of installed equipment/systems.
• Prepare daily site/field service reports through project phases.
• Assist with training schools and provide training on Sames equipment at customer facilities and in-house.
• Answer technical calls from the support phone line.
