Job summary

Sames North America is seeking a field service technician to install, commission, and troubleshoot equipment at customer facilities and in-house. The role requires travel to domestic and international sites 50%+ and the ability to work shifts, nights, weekends, or holidays as needed.

You will provide technical support, assist training schools, and prepare field reports while collaborating with customers and contract workers to ensure adherence to specifications and design.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school degree.
• Hands-on experience with mechanical, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
• Able to travel domestically and internationally 50%+ on short notice.
• Must read and write in English.
• Valid driver’s license and passport eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for internal and external customers, in-house and in the field.
• Install and commission equipment systems, and troubleshoot at customer facilities.
• Validate installed equipment and provide production support.
• Prepare daily site/field service reports through project phases.
• Assist with training sessions and provide training on Sames equipment.
• Answer technical calls from the support line.
