Job summary

Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, AL (and Greater Seattle Area & Los Angeles) seeks a Manager of multi-discipline support for Combustion Devices engineering and product team. You will set directions and develop team members to support current and future program needs, including design, fabrication, and testing of combustion device components for ULA and New Glenn customers.

You will provide day-to-day direction across the component life cycle, contribute to design for manufacturability, lead data

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical, or Physics preferred).
• 5+ years in aerospace or related field; leadership experience.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, manufacturing, and materials processing.
• Familiarity with GD&T and CAD tools; experience with DFManufacturability is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multi-discipline team supporting combustion devices engineering and product team.
• Direct design, fabrication, and testing activities for engine components.
• Perform data reviews and test readiness reviews; drive corrective actions.
• Coach and develop engineers; manage lifecycle from concept to hardware delivery.
