Blue Origin LLC in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Combustion Devices Propulsion Engineer II to design and develop propulsion components across the life cycle, from requirements to flight qualification. You will analyze test data, review results, and support fabrication and testing to ensure safety and reliability.

The role requires fundamentals in propulsion, fluids, thermodynamics, and combustion, plus CAD and GD&T proficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (aerospace, mechanical, chemical or physics) required.
• 2+ years of industry experience in propulsion or related field preferred.
• CAD experience with Creo or similar tools; familiarity with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop combustion devices (injectors, chambers, nozzles, thrusters, ignitors) for rocket engines and spaceflight systems.
• Manage full product life-cycle from requirements through flight qualification.
• Perform test data reviews, process non-conforming hardware, and write technical reports.
