Job summary

Blue Origin in Huntsville, AL seeks a Manager of multi‑discipline Support for Combustion Devices engineering and product teams. You will set technical directions, develop team members, and support design, fabrication, and testing of combustion device components for ULA and New Glenn customers.

Lead process improvements and cross‑functional collaboration across BE‑4 program. You will manage people, influence engineering talent, and provide day‑to‑day direction while supporting anomaly

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Aerospace, Mechanical, Chemical, or Physics preferred).
• 5+ years in aerospace or related field; leading teams to deliver hardware.
• Experience in driving continuous improvement to meet delivery, cost, and nonconformance goals.
• Commitment to coaching and growing engineering talent.
• Strong fundamentals in mechanical design, manufacturing, supply chain, and materials processing (machining, welding, brazing, additive).
• GD&T proficiency and CAD tool experience.
• Experience leading design for manufacturability (DFM).
• Knowledge of production processes and data analysis.
• Proven corrective action implementation and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Set technical and product support directions for combustion devices.
• Lead and develop a multi-discipline team in design, fabrication, and test support.
• Oversee in-house and supplier activities across the component life cycle.
• Promote process improvements to support on-rate product delivery.
• Provide day-to-day direction and mentor team members.
• Lead data reviews, test readiness reviews, and anomaly investigations.
• Drive corrective actions and hardware improvements across programs.
• Support road to space initiatives and collaborate across BE‑4 program teams.
