Job summary

Floor & Decor Holdings Inc. is seeking a Training Lead to develop and coach Product Sales Specialists and ensure customers receive expert product information and exceptional service. You will design training, monitor progress, and align store teams with company practices for a superb shopping experience.

Strong communication and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy retail setting are essential. Previous customer service or sales experience is preferred, with a focus on merchandise

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service/sales experience or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Act in line with company values and safety practices.
• Drive and teach the basic P’s of retail: People, Position, Product, Presentation, Price, Promotion, Purchasing.
• Provide direction to product sales specialists to ensure attentive customer service.
• Complete product specialist certification courses.
• Understand merchandise and installation.
• Ensure department merchandising, pricing and organization.
• Communicate SOPs and changes to associates in a timely manner.
• Assist with customer questions and checkout processes.
• Stock, tag, and price merchandise displays; create price tags and signs.
• Greet customers and assist with product questions and selections.
