Job summary

Chime is seeking a Product Manager to join the AI & App Experience (AAX) team with a focus on design systems. You’ll own strategy and execution for design-system capabilities that help multiple product teams build consistent, high-quality member experiences.

You’ll collaborate with Design and Engineering to evolve components, patterns, tooling, and infrastructure, turning insights into scalable systems that speed development and improve app quality across the platform.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Product Manager.
• Experience owning complex products, platforms, or internal systems from strategy through execution.
• Experience with design systems, developer platforms, UI frameworks, or shared infrastructure.
• Proven ability to translate ambiguous, cross-functional problems into a clear product strategy, roadmap, and measurable outcomes.
• Experience partnering with Product Design and Engineering with technical and design fluency.
• Experience driving adoption of a shared platform across multiple teams and influencing stakeholders.
• Evidence of using data, research, and feedback to prioritize investments and assess value.
• Experience balancing near-term delivery with durable foundations.

Responsibilities

• Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for design-system capabilities within AAX, connecting investments to improved member experiences.
• Partner with Design and Engineering to evolve components, patterns, tooling, and infrastructure for cohesive app experiences.
• Identify high-leverage opportunities to improve adoption and contribution to the design system across teams.
• Translate internal needs into clear priorities, requirements, and measurable outcomes.
• Drive alignment across multiple product areas for shared platform needs and tradeoffs.
• Establish success measures for the design system using quantitative and qualitative signals.
• Explore how emerging AI capabilities can enhance design-system strategy.
