Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced Product Manager with hardware/machinery expertise to drive the future of our products by aligning customer needs with business strategy. As a key player in our product team, you'll lead the development of our product roadmap, transforming insights into tangible solutions that elevate the industrial machinery sector. You'll work alongside our Director of Product and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional products that reshape the industry.

Role Responsibilities:

Customer & Market Research

  • Conduct customer site visits and industry research to understand market needs and competitive landscape
  • Develop comprehensive business requirements and product specifications based on customer insights

Product Strategy & Development

  • Manage major product initiatives annually spanning product improvements, new developments, and strategic partnerships
  • Oversee complete product lifecycle from concept through launch and ongoing support
  • Create product positioning strategies, competitive analysis, and pricing recommendations

Technical Leadership & Collaboration

  • Partner with Engineering, Sales, Installation, and Customer Support teams to drive product success
  • Develop product interaction maps and present business cases to secure executive approval for new initiatives
  • Lead cross-functional projects that align with company strategic goals
Work Environment
  • Ability to work remotely from one of the following states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Texas, South Dakota, Michigan, Wyoming, Colorado, Iowa, Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, Idaho, Florida, Alabama, North Carolina
  • 25% travel for onsite collaboration at our St. Cloud, MN office, and customer visits
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with an additional qualification in Business Management or Marketing being an advantage
  • Minimum 5+ years in product management, preferably within manufacturing technology or cutting tool technologies
  • Hardware/machinery product management experience with highly technical products (CNC machines, industrial equipment, or similar)
  • Engineering background with ability to understand and work with complex technical products
  • Experience in stone cutting, CNC manufacturing, precision machinery, or related industrial equipment industries
  • Strong technical product knowledge and product lifecycle management expertise
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to ask challenging questions
  • Team player mentality with collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Willingness to engage in difficult conversations and drive results through influence
  • Salary Range: $85,000 - $150,000 annually (based on experience level)
