Job summary

Customer.io is seeking a Product Manager to improve how customers experience their first weeks with us in a remote, async-first environment. You will own a defined slice of the journey, using data, experiments, and cross-functional partnerships to move it forward.

You will collaborate with other PMs and squads to ensure the agent integrates well with all parts of the platform, driving activation and retention improvements while delivering measurable customer value.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of product management experience in SaaS.
• Experience with AI-powered tooling in product workflows.
• Proven ability to improve activation or retention metrics.
• Strong analytical and experimentation skills.
• Collaborates across Product, Marketing, and CX.
• Excellent communicator, able to simplify complexity.

Responsibilities

• Own the product experience of our agent, ensuring it is first-class and helpful for the AI-first marketer.
• Work with other PMs and squads to ensure compatibility with the platform.
• Identify and resolve friction points using data, experiments, and customer insights.
• Define and track activation, retention, and monetization metrics.
• Partner with Marketing, CX, and Design to ensure success across touchpoints.
• Collaborate with Engineering to scope and deliver customer value improvements.
• Communicate priorities and progress clearly across teams and leadership.
