Job summary

Deliveroo is seeking a Senior Product Manager for Core People Technology in London. You will own the prioritised work for the Core HR surface (Workday-based), turning inbound requests into a clear roadmap and measurable outcomes.

This hands-on role requires building tickets with analysts and engineers and communicating plans to stakeholders. You will partner with People Operations, Compliance, Payroll and Total Rewards to align roadmaps with regulatory needs, and you will apply AI-assisted

Qualifications

• End-to-end ownership of a product or system area with decision rights over scope and sequencing.
• Hands-on experience with Workday or a comparable HRIS as PM/TPM and understanding of configuration and integrations.
• Ability to prioritise when demand exceeds capacity using a repeatable method.
• Delivery experience in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with incomplete requirements.
• Translate partner requests into defined problems, current-state understanding and testable outcomes.
• Strong collaboration across technical and non-technical stakeholders including compliance/payroll.

Responsibilities

• Own the prioritised order of work for Core — build a clear, ranked plan and justify deferrals.
• Turn vague requests into documented problems, current-state maps, and testable outcomes.
• Partner with People Operations, Compliance, Payroll, Total Rewards, and Business Systems Analysts; manage not-now conversations.
• Work hands-on with analysts and engineers to size and write tickets and track progress.
• Evolve the operating model across the analyst and engineering pod to reduce coordination overhead.
• Use AI tools to translate multi-format inbound requests into structured requirements while protecting pay/employment data.
