Job summary

Metal Technologies is seeking a Director of Product Engineering to lead the product engineering team across our production facilities. You will shape policy, drive APQP processes, and ensure design specifications meet customer requirements while improving safety, quality, and productivity.

You will partner with sales, manufacturing, and sourcing to translate customer needs into cost-effective solutions, manage development budgets, and guide engineering champions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, management, or related field (or equivalent) required.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma.

Responsibilities

• Lead the product engineering team and build strong plant relationships.
• Support sales and customers with engineering, cost, productivity, and quality improvements.
• Develop and implement product strategies across the lifecycle.
• Oversee design, tooling, and capital improvement projects.
• Provide direction for plant-level initiatives and ensure timely delivery.
