Job summary

TCLAD, Inc. seeks a Director of Product Engineering to lead the Product Engineering team and own full product lifecycle, from concept through mass production.

You will drive the technology roadmap, improve processes, and partner with Operations, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain to meet cost and delivery targets. You will act as the primary technical interface for customers, develop new designs, and coach a high-performing engineering team to deliver growth and innovation while maintaining safety

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Experience in product engineering and lifecycle management.
• Familiarity with design for manufacturability and quality systems.
• Ability to interact with customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Product Engineering, Programming, and Customer Documentation teams.
• Define short- and long-term engineering strategies aligned with objectives.
• Own product lifecycle from concept to high-volume production.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Quality, Sales, and Supply Chain.
• Oversee safety and regulatory compliance in engineering processes.
