Job summary

Precision Castparts in the United States seeks an Engineering Manager to lead a product/process engineering team and drive advanced manufacturing initiatives. You will develop the team’s skills and provide engineering direction to ensure customer and company requirements are met for products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Metallurgical, Materials or related Engineering field.
• Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 5–10 years of product or process engineering experience in investment casting.

Responsibilities

• Direct a customer-focused group of product and/or process engineers.
• Responsible for project selection, assignment and prioritization.
• Ensure personnel are properly trained in required procedures and knowledge.
• Resolve problems and provide leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Foster LEAN culture throughout the operation.
• Create reports and briefings (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, ad hoc).
• Perform annual performance reviews with direct reports.
