Job summary

RTX is seeking a Product Development Engineer (PDE) for onsite work in Tucson, AZ. The role focuses on manufacturability of PCB/CCA products, including design reviews, supplier collaboration, and BOM management.

You will guide design teams on material selection, IPC specs, and production readiness to improve cost, reliability, and cycle time. As a SME in PCB/CCA manufacturing, you will travel to supplier sites, mentor teammates, and coordinate with design, supply chain, and program leadership to

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Experience includes PCB manufacturing or circuit card assembly.
• Knowledge of IPC and MIL specifications and design guides.

Responsibilities

• Host and facilitate PCB/CCA design reviews with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Provide onsite supplier support travel and coordination with RTX stakeholders.
• Mentor PDEs and share manufacturing knowledge on PCB/CCA processes.
• Drive design, procurement and build schedules to meet program need dates.
• Generate drawing notes and review TDP to ensure IPC compliance.
• Perform design for manufacturability analyses and BOM management.
