Job summary

RTX is seeking a Product Development Engineer (PDE) in Tucson, AZ, to lead internal design activities optimizing PCB/CCA producibility. The PDE will coordinate electrical hardware design, procurement, and assembly services to meet cycle time, technology, and cost goals.

Role requires a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering and experience leading cross-functional teams. Onsite work with potential travel to suppliers is expected; relocation eligibility is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or related STEM by start date.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and multi-tasking.
• Proactive self-starter who connects engineering disciplines with SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Host and facilitate design reviews with multi-discipline teams for PCB/CCA from inception to manufacturing.
• Drive design, procurement and build schedule to meet program dates.
• Generate drawings and review Technical Data Package to IPC standards.
• Perform design for manufacturability analyses.
• Develop and manage BOM.
• Review supplier data and lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Travel to visit suppliers.
