Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience reading, interpreting, and creating construction drawings, specifications, and submittal documents.
• 5+ Years of experience of Electrical Product Design for Power Distribution Equipment or UPS.
• 5+ years of Data Center or Mission-Critical Design, Construction, or Operations.
• Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop concepts into new power distribution products for data centers.
• Lead new product design and collaborate with internal teams to capture design requirements and customer input.
• Collaborate with mechanical, structural, reliability, QA/QC and compliance teams.
• Create designs meeting quality requirements while delivering ROI.
• Work with global suppliers to specify electrical equipment and bill of materials.
• Ensure compliance with building codes across regions.
• Prepare and approve product design drawings and electrical BOMs and layouts.
• Define project scope and provide technical support pre- and during manufacturing.
• Work with field teams to set up test processes and validate installation and performance.
• Handle concurrent projects across multiple regions.
