Job summary

Amazon Web Services is hiring a Senior Product Design Electrical Engineer for the Electrical Products and Services (EPS) team. The role focuses on designing and improving electrical power distribution products for AWS data centers, spanning medium and low voltage switchgear, transformers, generators, busduct, and power distribution cabinets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead new product design, development and qualification of critical electrical power distribution equipment for AWS data centers.
• Develop Capex and Opex spending budgets with vendors and prototyping needs.
• Coordinate with global suppliers to ensure supply chain resiliency.
• Ensure compliance with UL, CSA, IEC and building codes across countries.
• Validate design through prototype and pre-production builds, conducting DFx and value engineering.
