Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. is hiring an Electrical Product Design Engineer to design, develop, and improve electrical power distribution products used across AWS data centers.

You will work on medium and low voltage switchgear, transformers, generators, and related infrastructure. You’ll lead design teams, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure regulatory compliance across multiple countries, with international travel up to 30%.

Qualifications

• Experience in mission critical facilities including data centers/power facilities.
• Experience researching new designs and construction methods for data center equipment.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and qualification of critical power distribution equipment for AWS data centers.
• Develop Capex and Opex budgets with vendors and testing needs.
• Coordinate with global suppliers to ensure supply chain resiliency.
• Ensure compliance with UL/CSA/IEC and building codes across countries.
