Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of experience in procurement preferred.
• Excellent customer service.
• Computer skills and aptitude to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform procurement activities to meet customer demand and align with purchasing strategies.
• Assess orders to expedite or de-expedite for delivery optimization.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Research and recommend vendors and items meeting specs, price, and delivery standards.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of delivered products; coordinate returns if needed.
• Follow up on purchase orders with vendors and communicate status to customers.
• Communicate with vendors to resolve timeliness and quality issues.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and assigned customers.
• Identify opportunities for customer cost savings.
