Vallen is seeking a Customer Service Representative (CSR) to work at a customer location, delivering exceptional service while purchasing products that meet price, quality and reliability standards.

The role requires 1+ years in procurement, strong communication, and proficiency with ERP and MS Office. You will maintain supplier relationships, monitor order status, and identify cost-saving opportunities while adhering to SOPs and maintaining a professional work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years procurement experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service.
• Computer skills and aptitude to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Procure products to meet customer demand; align with purchasing strategies.
• Expedite or de-expedite orders for optimal delivery.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Evaluate vendors and items for specs, price, and delivery.
• Monitor quality and timeliness; coordinate returns.
• Communicate order status to customers and vendors.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and customers.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Follow SOPs and maintain a professional worksite.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
