Vallen Distribution, Inc. in South Milwaukee, WI, seeks a Customer Service Representative (CSR) at a customer location. You will procure products to meet demand, place POs, and collaborate with vendors to ensure quality, pricing, and timely delivery.

Responsibilities include monitoring orders, resolving supplier issues, and maintaining supplier relationships. A high school diploma with procurement experience and MS Office proficiency is required.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ year procurement experience preferred.
• Ability to learn ERP and Inventory Management applications.
• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency with MS-Office products.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willing to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Perform procurement activities to meet customer demand (stock, non-stock, or spot buy) in line with purchasing strategies.
• Place purchase requisitions and vendor purchase orders.
• Assess and select vendors to meet quality, price, and delivery expectations.
• Monitor quality and timeliness of products; coordinate returns/replacements as needed.
• Follow up on purchase orders with vendors and communicate status to customers.
• Resolve payment conformance issues with suppliers and identify cost‑savings opportunities.
• Maintain relationships with suppliers and assigned customers; adhere to SOPs.
• Ensure worksite is professional and orderly; perform other duties as assigned.
