Job summary

NYC Department of Finance (DOF) is seeking a Procurement Analyst to manage complex procurements from initiation to contract expiration, ensuring compliance with PPB Rules and City directives.

You will collaborate with Legal, other DOF divisions, and the M/WBE program team while supporting reporting and special projects. This civil service title requires permanent status or eligibility via related exams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent with related experience.
• One year of professional procurement/negotiation experience may substitute.
• Must be eligible for NYC residency within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Procure goods and services from initiation to registration under PPB rules.
• Guide major procurements from initiation to contract expiration.
• Prepare and review contract documents with Legal and vendors.
• Ensure conformance to City mandates and PPB rules.
• Conduct RFPs and competitive bids as needed.
• Perform due diligence using PASSPort and other resources.
