Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, accounting, business or public administration, or a juris doctor; four years of retirement-plan related experience and 18 months in a supervisory role.
• Associate degree with six years of professional experience, including 18 months in a supervisory capacity.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience with at least 18 months in executive/managerial roles.

Responsibilities

• Draft and update agency procurement policy.
• Provide training and supervision of procurement staff.
• Liaise between Procurement and Legal to draft/negotiate contracts.
• Coordinate with business units to meet procurement needs.
• Assist with vendor communication and development of SOW.
• Participate in procurement/contract management software projects.
• Ensure compliance with PPB Rules and city procurement practices.
