Job summary

NYC Department of Finance is hiring a Procurement Analyst to procure highly complex goods and services, guiding major contracts from start to finish and ensuring compliance with City rules. You will coordinate with diverse DOF divisions and legal teams to align specifications with city mandates.

Required education includes a BA/BS or equivalent, or related combinations with experience in procurement, contract management, and negotiation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent to qualify for Assignment Level II.
• Alternative: associate degree with 12 months of procurement/contract exp.
• High school diploma plus two years relevant procurement experience acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Procures goods and services of highly complex nature from receipt to registration in compliance with PPB Rules.
• Leads major procurements from initiation through contract expiration with DOF divisions.
• Prepares and reviews contract documents with Legal and vendor before Law Dept submission.
• Reviews specifications to meet agency requirements and city mandates for IT and services.
• Manages RFPs and CSBs and other methods to procure core DOF services.
