Job summary

Subway is seeking a Manager, Procurement – COE to lead the establishment of the procurement center of excellence, owning the digital stack, analytics, and governance. You will drive spend analytics, reporting, and savings validation across multiple pillars and partner with FP&A, IT, and Legal to deliver EBITDA impact.

The role requires building capabilities from the ground up, managing vendors, and delivering Finance-grade insights for senior leadership, including CEO and CFO level updates.

Qualifications

• 8 years of experience in procurement or related fields including analytics, finance, or tech.
• Hands-on experience building or managing a spend analytics capability with data categorization and dashboard development.
• Experience with at least one enterprise procurement or spend analytics platform (Coupa, Jaggaer, SAP Ariba, Spend HQ, Ivalua, or similar).
• Track record of designing and managing Finance-validated savings tracking processes with Finance collaboration.
• Experience in a build or transformation environment—standing up processes, tools, or capabilities from scratch.

Responsibilities

• Lead evaluation, selection, and implementation of Procurement’s digital stack.
• Own platform performance, vendor relations, and integrations.
• Coordinate IT connectivity and data feeds for procurement systems.
• Drive tool adoption through training and support.
• Build and maintain the enterprise spend cube and analytics-ready data.
• Develop spend analytics and category insights to surface savings opportunities.
• Produce dashboards for real-time spend visibility by category and geography.
• Support sourcing with data-driven opportunity analysis and savings modeling.
• Design and own the savings tracking methodology across initiatives.
• Maintain the savings pipeline with owners and delivery dates.
• Partner with FP&A on validation, reporting, and reconciliation.
• Produce finance-grade savings reports for leadership reviews.
• Establish governance standards and policy documentation.
• Prepare leadership materials for reviews to VP/CFO level.
• Identify risks and keep delivery on track.
• Build COE office with milestones and ownership.
