The successful candidate will manage purchase orders, invoices, travel arrangements, and the recruitment lifecycle while supporting outreach, events, and staff supervision.

Qualifications

  • Read and understand instructions, correspondence, reports.
  • Prepare clear, concise memos, reports, and letters; prioritize workload; maintain filing systems.
  • Help supervise and support staff/student workers effectively.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles; state and federal regulations; accounts payable/receivable.

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated outstanding organizational skills; attention todetail; ability to work under minimal supervision; evidence ofinitiative and proactive approach to solving problems.
  • Experience with Texas State software such as Banner, GATO,LOGI, Course Leaf, Slate, and SAP.
  • Experience with travel, hiring, and purchasing processes;experience organizing and facilitating university events.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new procedures and toproblem-solve independently; excellent written and oralcommunication skills.
Job Description:
