Job Description:
Performs advanced, professional accounting functions that supportthe integrity of the university's financial reporting andaccounting operations. Responsible for state appropriations, cashand investment accounting activities, including oversight of dailypayment processing, reconciliation of financial data between theuniversity's general ledger and the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS), and participation in year-end financial reportingfor the Annual Financial Report (AFR). Ensures compliance withgovernmental GAAP, State of Texas requirements, and otherapplicable accounting standards and regulations.
