Job summary

Campbell Soup Company in Salem, Oregon is seeking a Processing Operator - Intermediate to support our salty processing line. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of processing machinery to meet quality standards and production targets.

You will mix ingredients, monitor temperatures and moisture, read batch sheets, and perform changeovers and routine maintenance. Overtime may be required as production schedules demand; strong safety discipline is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, with 1 year production experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to operate processing machinery safely and maintain product quality.
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures and 5S in a loud, hot production area.

Responsibilities

• Operate processing equipment to produce product per QA guidelines.
• Mix ingredients and monitor temperature/moisture, adjusting as needed.
• Perform changeovers and preventative maintenance per procedures.
• Read batch sheets and accurately weigh raw materials.
• Log temperatures, times, weights and monitor for foreign matter.
• Follow sanitation and safety procedures; maintain clean work areas.
