Job summary

The Campbell's Company in Hanover, PA is seeking a Salty Processing Operator to join our production team. You will operate processing equipment to produce high quality products, monitor temperatures and batch sheets, and keep lines running safely and efficiently on a rotating night shift.

You will follow GMPs, assist with maintenance, perform changeovers, document production logs, and help ensure food safety and quality.

Qualifications

Ability to safely operate manufacturing and food processing equipment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality and food safety.
Ability to follow batch sheets, recipes, production schedules, and operational procedures.
Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to perform equipment setups, changeovers, and minor maintenance activities.
Ability to accurately complete production logs and documentation.
Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions within established guidelines.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Operate processing equipment to produce products within QA standards and production specs.
Properly mix ingredients and monitor temperature, moisture, and product consistency.
Monitor product flow and remove out-of-specification product.
Operate, shut down, clean, and perform changeovers on processing equipment.
Assist with preventative maintenance activities and perform minor adjustments.
Read batch sheets, recipes, and production instructions accurately.
Monitor temperatures, times, and material weights; adjust as needed.
Follow sanitation procedures for cleanup and chemical handling.
Track and dispose of waste according to procedures.
Move raw materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other handling equipment.
Maintain inventory levels and communicate needs to production leadership.
Unload raw material deliveries and trailers safely.
Maintain oil levels and operate Urschel Heads efficiently.
Test and replace oil; understand heat exchanger systems.
Maintain 5S in the work environment and follow GMPs.
