Job summary

Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a motivated student to join the Process Engineering group as a Co-Op. You will partner with senior engineers and managers to monitor process conditions, provide engineering support, implement process improvements, and assist in meeting safety, quality, production, and cost goals.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the term.
• Familiarity with corn wet milling processes and related systems.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to maintenance and operations for process studies and optimization.
• Assist in capital permits, projects, and engineering studies up to $50k.
• Maintain historical data to monitor key operating parameters.
• Support safety, quality, production, and cost goals.
• Document results and share findings with the team.
