Ingredion Incorporated is seeking a Process Engineering Co-Op in Cedar Rapids, IA for January–August 2027. You will contribute to multiple small process engineering projects, applying chemical engineering concepts learned in classes to real-world applications in our facilities.

Responsibilities include safety leadership, daily leadership meetings, capital project support, and delivering concise reports and presentations. Strong teamwork and communication are essential.

Formación

• Progress toward a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with GPA 3.0/4.0 preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hrs per week during the summer internship term.
• Familiarity with the corn wet milling process and the systems involved.
• Ability to tackle problems, identify improvements, implement actions, and follow up.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present technical information.
• Proven analytical problem solving, multitasking, and time management skills.
• Experience with PC applications such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from the facility each work day.

Responsabilidades

• Complete small process engineering projects from concept to closure.
• Attend daily leadership and monthly safety meetings.
• Manage small capital projects including estimating, purchasing, start-up and commissioning.
• Identify growth and cost-savings opportunities for productivity and cost reduction.
• Collaborate with specialists and employees to foster teamwork.
• Produce and deliver effective presentations.
