Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0 preferred.
• Ability to work 40 hrs per week during the internship term.
• Learn and understand the corn wet milling process and related systems.
• Identify improvements, implement action plans and follow-up to ensure results.
• Strong communication skills for presenting technical information and concise reports.
• Proven analytical problem solving, multi-tasking and time management.
• Experience with PC applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Reliable transportation to facility each work day.

Responsibilities

• Assist in small process engineering projects with exposure to safety and environmental standards.
• Attend daily leadership and monthly safety meetings.
• Manage small capital projects from concept through commissioning and closure.
• Support productivity and cost-saving initiatives in manufacturing.
• Foster teamwork and present project updates effectively.
• Deliver results through multi-tasking and problem solving in a fast-paced environment.
