Job summary

Olin is seeking a Process Engineer Co-Op (Fall 2027) in Independence, MO. You will support operations, maintenance, and safety teams while driving lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.

Projects will be defined at the start of the rotation and may involve small capital projects with justification and installation steps. The role requires an undergraduate Chemical or Civil Engineering student with a 3.0+ GPA, completion of sophomore year, and on-site, full-time availability

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Chemical or Civil Engineering major with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Completed sophomore year before first rotation.
• Must be able to work 40 hours/week during rotation; on-site only.
• ITAR access vetting and U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements for the production of small caliber ammunition.
• Collect, process, and communicate data to support engineering projects and process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
