Job summary

Olin is seeking a Chemical Engineering Co-Op for Fall 2027 in Freeport, TX (and other locations). The role supports maintenance and production to develop and implement new or improved chemical manufacturing processes and may serve on small capital projects including justification, ordering, and installation.

You will lead at least three hands-on projects, help optimize daily operations, resolve plant issues, and participate in turnarounds while updating P&IDs and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university majoring in Chemical Engineering (undergraduate).
• GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times; official transcript required each term.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) during rotation; no virtual work.
• TWIC card and valid US driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects during the rotation.
• Assist Operations to optimize daily operations and process performance.
• Assist with resolving plant issues and driving improvements.
• Participate in plant turnarounds, update P&IDs, and support CI initiatives.
