Job summary

Olin Corporation in Independence, Missouri is offering a Process Engineer Co-Op for Fall 2027. You will lead hands-on projects across the rotation and work closely with maintenance to improve processes in a fast-paced facility.

The program requires you to be enrolled in at least sophomore year in Industrial, Mechanical, or Metallurgical engineering with a 3.0+ GPA, and to work on-site full-time. ITAR compliance and U.S. citizenship are prerequisites for access to the plant.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college/university in an undergrad Industrial, Mechanical, or Metallurgical degree program.
• GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale; official transcript required each term.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the rotation.
• Support maintenance in developing policies and procedures for preventative and predictive maintenance.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements for production of small caliber ammunition.
• Collect, process, and communicate data to support engineering projects and process improvements.
