Job summary

Olin is seeking a Process Engineer Co-Op for Spring 2027 in Independence, MO, with additional locations. You will support operations, maintenance, and safety as part of manufacturing excellence initiatives and lead at least three hands-on projects.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Industrial, Mechanical, or Metallurgical degree program.
• GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale; official transcript required each term.
• Sophomore year completed (60 credits) prior to first rotation.
• Must be a U.S. citizen; ability to access ITAR data; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term.
• Support maintenance in developing policies and procedures for preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Identify and implement process improvements for small caliber ammunition production.
• Collect and communicate data to support engineering projects in a fast-paced setting.
