Job summary

Olin is seeking a Process Engineer Co-Op for Fall 2027 in Independence, MO. You will support operations, maintenance, and safety while contributing to lean manufacturing initiatives and small capital projects.

You will lead at least three hands-on projects, help develop preventative/predictive maintenance policies, and identify improvements in small caliber ammunition production. Data will be collected and analyzed to drive engineering decisions.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited college/university with a 3.0+ GPA.
• Sophomore year completed (60 credits) before first rotation.
• Experience or knowledge of ammunition/firearms industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects throughout the term.
• Support maintenance in developing preventive/predictive maintenance policies.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements in small caliber ammo production.
• Collect, process, and communicate data to support engineering projects.

Education

Undergrad Industrial, Mechanical, or Metallurgical degree program

GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale
