Job summary

Olin is seeking a Process Engineer Intern for Summer 2027 in Independence, MO. The role offers a $30.00 per hour wage with an accompanying housing stipend. You will join operations, maintenance, and safety teams to drive manufacturing excellence through continuous improvement and lean initiatives.

The internship requires enrollment in Chemical or Civil Engineering, a 3.0+ GPA, and completion of sophomore year. US citizenship and ITAR access are required for eligibility.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 4-year engineering program (Chemical or Civil).
• GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale at all times; transcript required each term.
• Experience or familiarity with ammunition/shooting sports industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead minimum three hands-on projects during rotation.
• Identify and implement process improvements for production.
• Collect and communicate data to support engineering projects in a fast-paced plant.
