Job summary

Olin is seeking a Process Engineer Co-Op (Fall 2027) in Independence, MO. The role supports manufacturing excellence through continuous improvement and lean initiatives, serving as the engineering representative on small capital projects.

You'll lead at least three hands-on projects, evaluate process improvements for small caliber ammunition, and collect data to support engineering initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Housing stipend available.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an accredited college with a 3.0+ GPA (4.0 scale) at all times.
• Must have completed sophomore year (60 credits) before first rotation.
• Experience with ammunition/ firearms preferred.
• Must be able to work full-time (40 hours/week); no virtual work allowed.
• Ability to access ITAR data and obtain required export approvals.

Responsibilities

• Lead a minimum of three hands-on projects during the rotation.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement process improvements for small caliber ammunition.
• Collect, process, and communicate data to support engineering projects in a fast-paced plant.
