Job summary

Olin seeks a Process Engineer Co-Op for Fall 2027 in Independence, MO. You will support operations, maintenance, and safety teams, leading hands-on projects and driving lean initiatives in a manufacturing setting.

Ideal candidates study Industrial, Mechanical, or Metallurgical engineering, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and have completed sophomore year. US citizenship and on-site work are required; a housing stipend may be available.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Industrial, Mechanical, or Metallurgical engineering student.
• GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale throughout program.
• Sophomore year completed before first rotation.
• Experience with ammunition or firearms is preferred.
• Must be able to work full-time (40 h/week) during rotation.

Responsibilities

• Lead at least three hands-on projects during the rotation.
• Support maintenance in developing preventive/predictive procedures.
• Identify and implement process improvements in production.
