Winchester Ammunition is seeking a Process Engineer Co-Op (Spring 2027) to support operations, maintenance and safety with lean manufacturing initiatives. Expect to lead at least three hands-on projects and drive process improvements in small caliber ammunition production.

This role requires full-time availability, enrollment in Chemical or Civil Engineering, 3.0+ GPA, and US work authorization with ITAR compliance. On-site in Independence, MO and East Alton, IL with housing stipend available.

Competenze

• Enrolled in a college with Chemical or Civil Engineering major.
• GPA 3.0+ on a 4.0 scale; official transcripts required each term.
• Experience in ammunition or firearms industry preferred.
• Completed sophomore year (60 credits) prior to rotation.
• Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week); no virtual work.
• Access to ITAR data; export controls vetting required.
• U.S. citizen; must be eligible to work in the United States; no sponsorship.
• Access to Lake City Army Ammunition Plant site restrictions apply.
