Job summary
Iron Mountain is seeking an experienced Process Engineer to evaluate, standardize, and optimize operational workflows across multiple facilities within Asset Lifecycle Management and ITAD operations. You will partner with floor teams to eliminate waste, improve productivity, and implement practical solutions that drive measurable gains in quality and ergonomics.
The role requires 3-5 years in process or industrial engineering with Lean/Six Sigma exposure, a Bachelor's in Engineering, and
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of process/industrial engineering or continuous improvement experience.
- Lean principles applied in manufacturing, refurbishment, warehousing, or reverse logistics; Green Belt is a plus.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; able to train multi-site teams.
- Experience with ITAD, electronics refurbishment, or enterprise IT hardware is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Visit facilities to observe workflows and compare with standard procedures.
- Map material and information flows; perform root-cause analysis to reduce bottlenecks.
- Write SOPs and work instructions for standardized practices across sites.
- Perform time and motion studies to measure cycle times, labor use, and throughput.
- Enhance workstations and systems; collaborate with IT/Operations on asset tracking and data entry.
