Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a hands-on Process Engineer to evaluate, standardize, and optimize ITAD operations across facilities. You’ll work with floor teams to identify gaps, reduce waste, and implement practical improvements that boost productivity, ergonomics, and quality.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in process or industrial engineering, apply Lean principles, and can travel domestically with some international trips.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in process engineering, industrial engineering, or related optimization roles.
• Practical Lean principles experience in manufacturing, refurbishment, warehousing, or reverse logistics.

Responsibilities

• Assess & Improve floor operations to align with standard procedures.
• Apply Lean methods to map flows, identify bottlenecks, and reduce waste.
• Standardize and document workflows with SOPs and visual aids across sites.
• Analyze capacity and metrics, tracking KPIs like yield and throughput.
• Enhance workstations and systems, improve ergonomics and data tracking.
