Job summary

Iron Mountain is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize Asset Lifecycle Management and ITAD operations. You will drive Lean improvements across facilities, standardize workflows, and train floor teams to reduce waste and improve productivity. Travel domestically is expected with occasional international trips.

The role requires 3–5 years in process engineering, a Lean/Six Sigma background, and strong data analysis and communication skills. Bachelor’s in engineering completes the profile.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in process/industrial engineering or related optimization roles.
• Experience applying Lean/Six Sigma in manufacturing, refurbishment, warehousing or reverse logistics.
• Strong data interpretation, communication, and cross-site leadership skills.
• Exposure to ITAD, electronics recycling or serialized asset tracking is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Visit facilities to observe frontline workflows and align with site leaders on gaps.
• Map flows, analyze bottlenecks, and apply Lean methods to reduce waste.
• Develop SOPs, visual aids, and standard work for multiple sites.
• Conduct time/motion studies and monitor KPIs like first-pass yield and cycle time.
• Improve floor layouts, tools, and ergonomics; support IT/Operations in asset tracking.
